Behaviour
We always aim to treat children with consideration and respect. As a result we hope that the children will behave in a kind and courteous manner to adults and to one another. This is stressed at all times. We believe in the development of self-control and the acceptance of responsibility for their actions is essential if children are to live happily in the community. Anti-social behaviour is dealt with first by the class teacher, or playground supervisor and more serious cases by the Year Leader, the Deputy Headteacher or the Headteacher. Serious misbehaviour results in a 'Red card'. You will be informed if your child receives a 'Red Card' and if your child receives a second, we will invite you in to discuss your child’s behaviour with those who teach him/her.We always reserve the right to exclude children from lunchtimes, if their behaviour in the playground is frequently violent and aggressive. The safety and well being of pupils and staff is given a high priority.
